This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Dubois is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Green River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Scott Lake; Glacier Trail is a perfect local trail, and from Scott Lake you obtain a great vista of Desolation Peak. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Scott Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge

| | down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Scott Lake are in the 10's. And if that's not enough there's heaps more fun things to do in the Wind River Range. Stonehammer Lake is a perfect lake in close proximity to Scott Lake, and no need to travel far to stop at out of the ordinary stuff like Baby Glacier. month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Scott Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the New Fork Trail, and if you came for an
overnight stay Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a good location to camp. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. There's good hiking along the Shannon Pass Trail,
and a lovely lake like Peak Lake is a fine place to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Pole Creek, and camping is available at Trails End Campground. If you need a place
to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a glorious choice, and nearby you stumble on Stone Pillar Pass which is a wonderful spot to stop at. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful.
