Go to Scott Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Green River, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Shannon Pass Trail. Peak Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and you can stay the night at Upper Fremont Lake Campground. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be. Scott Lake is a great spot to visit

| | for more than one day, Trails End Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and the Glacier Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest, and Baby Glacier is an out of the ordinary thing to see since you're here. At Scott Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime | |

come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Scott Lake throughout the winter frequently plunge into the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Desolation Peak is clearly visible from Scott
Lake; close by you locate the New Fork Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. If you come at the right time of year, Pole Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and if you
need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a great choice. At Scott Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls through June; the driest of the months is February. But wait, there's more cool stuff to
do in the Wind River Range. While you're here at Scott Lake, you could also go to beautiful Stonehammer Lake, and a magnificent place is Stone Pillar Pass.
