It's a great idea to pop by Warm Springs Creek, it's right next door to Scotch Plunge; camping at Grandview Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience. Not much rain falls here at Scotch Plunge; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Big Spring is always fun to check out, and one of the dominant traits       of the surroundings of Scotch Plunge is Monument Hill. Best Western The Plaza Hotel is a good place to get some rest, and Devils Punch Bowl is a great spot to check out. For the period of the summer months at Scotch Plunge temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Scotch Plunge drop into the 0's.                  Red Lane Gulch is a great spot to visit close by; there's good hiking along the Johnson Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Scotch Plunge is Fountain Of Youth RV Park, and have a look at nearby Cover Slough. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Scotch Plunge will keep you coming back persistently.
