Summertime highs at Sawtooth Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 30's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sawtooth Lake are in the 0's. Sawtooth Lake gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so       wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Sawtooth Lake called the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. Sawtooth Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. There are pleasant places to look at along the Lewis and Clark Trail; Sawtooth Mountain can be spotted from Sawtooth Lake. Gotta ski! Red Lodge Mountain is a good place to do that, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Life's too                  short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Absaroka Range. Island Lake Campground is a delightful campground here, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a good whitewater spot nearby. So many exciting things in the Absaroka Range, just tremendous. There are other places here than Sawtooth Lake, for example Dollar Lake; going for a hike on the Morrison Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Red Lodge is a good place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Long Lake Campground is a great location to camp. So many entertaining things to do here at Sawtooth Lake, too perfect to be true.
