There are other places here than Sawtooth Lake, for example Sparhawk Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. These mountains rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Lakes are such calm locations, why not check out Top Lake near Sawtooth Lake; delightful skiing awaits you at Red Lodge Mountain. The Morrison Trail is       a pleasant hiking trail near Sawtooth Lake; do set aside some time for Sawtooth Meadows while you're here at Sawtooth Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Yodeler Motel is a good location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Sawtooth Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Campground is a great place for that, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot close by. Just can't get enough of Sawtooth Lake. If you came to                  camp Island Lake Campground is a great spot to do that; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Sawtooth Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sawtooth Lake. A typical amount of rain falls here at Sawtooth Lake; most of the rain falls through June, and the driest of the months is October. You definitely should like the Absaroka Range.
