This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. Camping is available at Big Goose Campground; Sawmill Dam is not far at all from Sawmill Reservoir. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Sawmill Reservoir. Head up to Big Horn Ski and strap some skis to your feet, and after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a splendid spot to spend a night or       two. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid site to camp here at Sawmill Reservoir is Twin Lakes Campground, and Antelope Butte is a very popular ski area nearby. Going for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure; if you need a spot to stay Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a great choice. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Bighorn Mountains. There are delightful locations to discover along the                  Roosevelt Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Paintrock Creek. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Bighorn Mountains. Some of the water nearby flows, like Coney Creek, and nearby you stumble on the Game Creek Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Tongue River. Sawmill Reservoir is a location that is pretty dry commonly; the month with most of the snow is April, and the driest month of the year is February. Through the warm months, highs mostly are in the 60's at Sawmill Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's.
