    In Wyoming there are many beautiful lakes, Sawmill Lakes is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Big Goose Campground is always a tremendous experience. Not much rainfall falls here at Sawmill Lakes; through the month of April you get the most snow around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Antelope Butte, and you can take a little journey to Sawmill Dam while you're here  
   at Sawmill Lakes.
Be careful coming to the Bighorn Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Big Horn Ski has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a fine place to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Sawmill Lakes. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Sawmill Lakes called the Roosevelt Trail; if you came to camp Twin Lakes Campground is a perfect
 
               site to do that. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains has it all. While you're here at Sawmill Lakes you can take a hike along the Game Creek Trail, and paddling on Paintrock Creek is so much fun.
Getting to Coney Creek from Sawmill Lakes is simple; if you need a place to stay The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a delightful choice. High temperatures at Sawmill Lakes all through the warm months are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Sawmill Lakes nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Tongue River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail.
This lake is located in the wonderful Bighorn Mountains.
