    Go to Sawmill Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Sawmill Lakes. Coney Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out; Sawmill Lakes is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Twin Lakes Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby. There is a great hiking trail near Sawmill Lakes called the Wolf Creek Trail. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do in the Bighorn Mountains.  
   Going for a hike on the Roosevelt Trail is always a glorious adventure. Lakes? Sure, Sawmill Reservoir is close by.
Around Sawmill Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year April is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is February. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Antelope Butte; you can stay the night at Big Goose Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Game Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the
 
               vicinity of Sawmill Lakes, and soar down the rapids of Paintrock Creek in a kayak.
At Sawmill Lakes during the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 30's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows at Sawmill Lakes all through the winter typically drop into the 0's. Sawmill Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Horn Ski, and if you need a spot to stay Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a perfect choice.
This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Sawmill Dam in the neighborhood of Sawmill Lakes is beautiful, and after a long day outdoors The Passage Resort at Big Horn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. You truly ought to fancy the Bighorn Mountains. Lake Fontanalis is a great lake near Sawmill Lakes, and paddling on Tongue River is so much fun.
