This lake is so wonderful. There's always Saratoga Dam to explore near Saratoga Reservoir; Buck Springs Draw is nearby, and is a good place. Put some time aside to spend at Saratoga Hot Springs since you're here at Saratoga Reservoir; Cadwell Slough is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Troublesome Trail, and a       glorious close by hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Encampment River, and if you came for an overnight stay The Place is a pleasant spot to camp. Saratoga Reservoir gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls during May; February is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Saratoga Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the                  20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Saratoga Reservoir. After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to Saratoga Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go home again.
