Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Timber Creek Trail, and if you get bored of Rush Creek Reservoir you could also take a look at close by Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Absaroka Bay Recreational Vehicle is a tremendous spot to do that, and a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Shoshone River. | | is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Rush Creek Reservoir. Horse Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out, and if you're here at Rush Creek Reservoir, checking out Meeteetse Rim is a must. you need to camp here for a while, Cody Koa Kampground is a great site for that. Rush Creek Reservoir is usually a pretty dried out location; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Rush Creek Reservoir you can take a hike along the Wind River Trail. Rush Creek Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here; after a long day outdoors Yellowstone Valley Inn is
a tremendous place to spend a night or two. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Rush Creek Reservoir, too tremendous to be true. Take a hike on the Gooseberry Trail; a pleasant nearby hotel is Cody Legacy Inn and Suites.
