Around Round Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Freezeout invigorates the soul, and the skiing at Antelope Butte is wonderful. Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Why not camp at Upper Paint Rock Lake Campground if you're here at Round Lake, and after a long day outdoors The Passage       Resort at Big Horn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the North High Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lower Medicine Lodge Lake is just a very short distance away. Round Lake truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. If the weather is brilliant here at Round Lake, you can go for a hike along the                  Edelman Trail; Shell Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. Round Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Horn Ski is next to Round Lake, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Paintrock Creek. Have a good hiking adventure along the Kinky White Trail; a delightful place to camp here at Round Lake is Medicine Lodge Lake Campground. You absolutely must fancy the Bighorn Mountains. A pleasant sight of scenic Bear Mountain is available from Round Lake, and needless to say, this is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Upper Medicine Lodge Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Round Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's.
