What a location this is for outdoors people. Round Lake is right by the Circle Trail, and the vista of Browns Peak is lovely. Not much rain falls here at Round Lake; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Hiking along the Medicine Bow Trail       is brilliant fun, and Round Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a wonderful local campground. Round Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Little Brooklyn Lake Dam near Round Lake; Round Lake is not the only location close by, Fishhook Lake is a close by lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains.                  Take a hike on the Lakes Trail, naturally you could also pop by Jeep Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC; you can run the rapids of North Platte River. During the summertime months at Round Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Round Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Snowy Range is just what you need.
