Why not stop by Lakes of the Rough if you're passing through these parts. Lakes are good; Emerald Lake is a lake that's close to Lakes of the Rough, and there's magnificent hiking along the Edelman Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Big Horn Ski, and Lakes of the Rough is right by the Main Paint Rock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling near Lakes of the Rough is Tensleep Creek, and Antelope

| | Butte has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do next to Lakes of the Rough. A great place to camp here at Lakes of the Rough is Lake Geneva Campground, and a fine place is Edelman Pass. Through the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 60's at Lakes of the Rough, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Lakes of the Rough. | |

So much cool stuff in the Bighorn Mountains, just fantastic. You can run the rapids of Paintrock Creek near Lakes of the Rough; the North High Park Trail offers hiking at its best. It is very dry here at Lakes of the Rough typically;
of all the months in a year April is the one with the most snow while February is generally the driest month. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all you can do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Camping is available at Upper Paint Rock Lake Campground; dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn.
