Go to Lakes of the Rough if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Main Paint Rock Trail offers hiking at its best. Lakes of the Rough is usually a relatively dry place; April is the wettest month with most snow while February is usually the driest month. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Bighorn Mountains. Don't leave Lakes of the Rough without first going for a hike along the Edelman Trail, and get your heart pumping

A lovely lake like Emerald Lake in the neighborhood of Lakes of the Rough is a good spot to visit, and there's whitewater on Paintrock Creek for all you adrenaline people. stuff right next door to Lakes of the Rough. Edelman Pass is near Lakes of the Rough and is without doubt a great site to pop by; Big Horn Ski is a very popular ski area around here. A pleasant spot to camp here at Lakes of the Rough
is Lake Geneva Campground; you'll discover a charming lake called Horseshoe Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. Throughout the warm months, highs commonly are in the 60's at Lakes of the Rough.
Once the sun is down it falls down to the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; overnight lows through the winter for Lakes of the Rough tend to be in the 0's.
