There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Snowy Range, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Lakes Trail. High temperatures at Rob Roy Reservoir through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rob Roy Reservoir are in the 10's. Rob       Roy Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dried out spot; April is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Bear Creek flows through this neighborhood; Rob Roy Dam is a scenic location. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you                  can always go whitewater paddling on Laramie River, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Holmes Campground is a wonderful campground nearby; while you're here you can take a hike along the Circle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Moores Gulch while you're here at Rob Roy Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Douglas Creek Campground; North Platte River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by.
