The warmest time of the year at Rimrock Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. Lake, you can go for a hike along the Granite Canyon Trail, and the top of Mount Hunt is easily seen from Rimrock Lake.
But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Teton Range. Grand Teton National Park is a splendid
local destination here at Rimrock Lake, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Alaska Basin Trail. At Rimrock Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while August is frequently
the driest month. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling near Rimrock Lake is Ditch Creek, and going for a hike along the Open Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
