For the period of the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Richard Reservoir, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 30's while Richard Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Around Richard Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of May is       the wettest with most of the rain while January is commonly the driest month. There's so much to do here at Richard Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Country Market is a pleasant location for that, and Richard Dam is a lovely site, positively worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. Hagerman Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn At Sundance. If you came to camp Hawken                  Ranch and Hawken Guest Ranch is a fine location to do that, and Rodeway Inn Sundance Mountain Inn is a good place to get some rest. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Richard Reservoir.
