This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a journey to Rocky Mountain National Park while you're here at Rhodes Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Laramie here. Rhodes Lake is pretty arid mostly; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is January. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. A delightful close by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites Laramie,       and North Fork - Medicine Bow National Forest is a perfect campground nearby. Nearby lakes? Sure, Howell Lake is next to Rhodes Lake. You're probably keen on lakes, Soap Holes is one of those nearby, and there are great locations to discover along the Overland Trail. Going for a hike on the Lincoln Trail is always a magnificent adventure; Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a fine local campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Rhodes Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's.
