This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on North Platte River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Circle Trail. All year is a glorious time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Bellamy Lake is a fine lake in close proximity to Reservoir Lake. There's so much to do here at Reservoir Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lewis Lake Campground is a good spot       for that. Reservoir Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Snowy Range is a very popular ski area around here, and Reservoir Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Mirror Lake Campground is a glorious local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Medicine Bow Mountains. On a great day                  at Reservoir Lake you can take a hike along the Lakes Trail. There are other places here than Reservoir Lake, for example Cutthoat Lake, and a fine nearby hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC. So many cool things to do at Reservoir Lake, so little time. Browns Peak is clearly visible from Reservoir Lake; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Medicine Bow Trail. The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful. During the long summer days at Reservoir Lake highs are usually in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
