This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Log Cabin Motel is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Renner Reservoir reach the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Renner Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. | |

The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Horn Ski, and needless to say, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Renner Reservoir is a lake around here.
You can run the rapids of Tensleep
Creek right next door to Renner Reservoir; if you came to camp Cold Springs Campground is a good place to do that. There's so much to do here at Renner Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Flagstaff Campground is a nice
site for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Renner Reservoir; Kinky White Trail is a perfect local trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Main Paint Rock Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you crave a little side tour, try Cottonwood Draw.
