There is a glorious hiking trail close to Reed Reservoir called the Emigrant Trail, and Reed Dam has pleasant water scenery. For the period of the days of summer at Reed Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Reed Reservoir through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.       Dry warm beds await you at Kountry Kabins, and camping at Reed Reservoir is great fun, Marion Aimone Trailer Park is a great local campground. If you need a spot to stay Wagon Wheel Motel is a perfect choice, and Lyman Koa Kampground is a splendid campground here. Reed Reservoir is pretty dry regularly; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest of the months is February.
