Red Wing Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. The Ross Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and paddling on Wind River - East Fork is so much fun. Yeah, come here to Red Wing Lake for a good time. Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a good place to get some rest, and one of the major features of the surroundings of Red Wing Lake is       Noon Rocks. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Soapstone Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the C M Trail. Wind River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping at Circle Up Camper Court Shop is always a good experience. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. Lakes are glorious; Ann Lake is a lake that's in                  the vicinity of Red Wing Lake. All through the long summer days at Red Wing Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Red Wing Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Wind River Range. There's glorious hiking along the Whiskey Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Dish Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
