If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wind River Range. This is a fine vicinity for folks who like lakes. Alice Lake is a lake nearby, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Ross Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Best Western Pinedale Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. On a beautiful day you obtain a view       of Noon Rocks from Red Wing Lake, and Soapstone Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Wind River Range. There's so much to do here at Red Wing Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great place for that; there are some fine whitewater spots on Wind River - East Fork. This lake is so wonderful. During the summertime months here                  at Red Wing Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Red Wing Lake during the winter generally drop into the 10's. Yeah, come here to Red Wing Lake for a perfect time. Red Wing Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Longhorn RV & Motel is a great local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the C M Trail. There's delightful hiking along the Whiskey Mountain Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Wind River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range.
