Red Arrow Reservoir is ordinarily a rather dehydrated spot; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Some nearby water includes Brushy Creek, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Inn At Sundance is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful.       The Geis Trail offers hiking at its best, and the scenery at Red Arrow Dam is lovely. Through the months of summer at Red Arrow Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Red Arrow Reservoir dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
