     The Cold Spring Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Ray Lake. All through the summertime highs here at Ray Reservoir reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ray Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Farlow Trail,  
   and there are plenty of folks from Riverton here at Ray Reservoir. Not far from Ray Reservoir, you'll come across Alkali Lake which is a wonderful lake, and Ray Dam is scenic.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Best Western The Inn at Lander, and why not camp at Rocky Acres Campground while you're here at Ray Reservoir. At Ray Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January
 
               is regularly the driest month.
Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Ray Reservoir. There are some great whitewater spots on Middle Popo Agie River, and there's good hiking along the Blue Trail. Dead Horse Slough is a pretty stream that is worth visiting, and if you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a tremendous choice. Camping is available at Ray Lake Cafe, and White Horse Draw is close at hand, and is a wonderful place.
