    Ray Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Alkali Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Ray Lake; if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a glorious choice. Ray Lake is not far at all from Riverton; there's always Ray Dam to stop at in the vicinity of Ray Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Rocky Acres Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and get wet paddling on Middle  
   Popo Agie River.
This lake is so wonderful. At Ray Lake you don’t see much rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. There are other locations here than Ray Lake, for example Ray Reservoir; going for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Ray Lake. A fine nearby
 
               hotel is Best Western Inn At Lander, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Cold Spring Trail. For the duration of the days of summer at Ray Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Ray Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Why not camp at Ray Lake Cafe while you're here at Ray Lake, and do take a hike on the Blue Trail.
