Rawlins Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's near Rawlins Reservoir, and camping at Little Sandstone Campground is always a nice experience. Good hiking is available along the Green Ridge Trail; Rawlins Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Jack Creek Campground is a glorious local campground. At Rawlins Reservoir throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Rawlins Reservoir overnight                  low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's.
