    Go to Rainy Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Yellowstone North, and a tour to Rainy Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Calcite Springs. So many fun things to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. There's some flowing water nearby, Antelope Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and from Rainy Lake you get a great sight of Bumpus Butte. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Tower Fall  
   Campground since you're here at Rainy Lake, and don't leave Rainy Lake without first checking out The Needle.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Rainy Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Lost Lake, and don't leave Rainy Lake without first going for a hike along the Coyote Creek Trail. Bump-Sullivan Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Pleasant Valley is a charming spot any time of year. So much cool stuff to do at Rainy
 
               Lake, so little time. You might want to pay a visit to The Narrows since you're here at Rainy Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Buffalo Plateau Trail.
Rainy Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. This place, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Lava Creek Campgrounds is a nice local campground; going for a hike on the Coyote Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure. Summertime at Rainy Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Rainy Lake drop into the 10's.
Rainy Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
