    It's always fun to stop by Rainy Lake. So many enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range, not sufficient time. Bumpus Butte can be observed from Rainy Lake, and it's a delightful idea to pop by Antelope Creek. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Around Rainy Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
If you want a wonderful time in the great
 
   outdoors, just come on down to Rainy Lake. A good location like Pleasant Valley here at Rainy Lake is too magnificent to miss; you could always discover The Narrows. This location, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Near Rainy Lake you locate the Coyote Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and camping at Rainy Lake is great fun, Tower Fall Campground is a great local campground. A spree to Calcite Springs will fill your soul with  
               magnificent feelings, and you can go for a hike on the Coyote Creek Trail.
Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Yellowstone North; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Bump-Sullivan Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The Needle is an out of the ordinary thing to catch a sight of while you're here at Rainy Lake. For the period of the warm months highs here at Rainy Lake get into the 80's; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rainy Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Buffalo Plateau Trail is always a good adventure; Lava Creek Campgrounds is a splendid campground here.
