A visit to Rainy Lake is always a good idea. Yeah, come up here to the Absaroka Range for a wonderful time. A perfect close by hotel is Comfort Inn Yellowstone North, and some close by water includes Antelope Creek. A tremendous location to camp here at Rainy Lake is Tower Fall Campground, and a cool spot to have a look at is The Needle. High temperatures at Rainy Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the

| | 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rainy Lake.
This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lava Creek Campgrounds if you're here at Rainy Lake, and going for a hike on the Coyote Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Rainy Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Calcite
Springs, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Buffalo Plateau Trail. Rainy Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount
of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
Bumpus Butte is easy to spot from Rainy Lake, and the Coyote Creek Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.
