What a nice lake Rainy Lake is. Rainy Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Bighorn Mountains. If the weather is pleasant here at Rainy Lake, you can go for a hike along the Angeline Trail, and you can take a little visit to South Fork Pond Dam if you're here at Rainy Lake. Just can't get enough of Rainy Lake. Near Rainy Lake you locate the Mistymoon Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and camping

The Solitude Trail is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Rainy Lake, and if you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Romeo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a scenic lake called Otter Lake near Rainy Lake, and there's whitewater on Clear Creek for all you thrill seekers. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Bighorn Mountains. | |

A wonderful spot to camp here at Rainy Lake is Sourdough Campground; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Powder River - North Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. At Rainy Lake you don’t see much precipitation; most of the
snow falls through April, and February is when it's the driest. All through the summer months here at Rainy Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 60's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings
highs down to the 20's, and night lows through the winter for Rainy Lake tend to be in the 0's.
Pass Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here, and Best Western Crossroads Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest.
