Take a hike on the Arlington Pack Trail, and the slopes of Snowy Range are so inviting noone can resist. Summertime highs at Rainey Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Rainey Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Why not       take a refreshing hike along the Overland Trail, and the fine people of Laramie like to hang out close by. There's so much to do here at Rainey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock River Koa Kampground is a tremendous site for that, and there's some exciting stuff to see at Joe D Dam in the vicinity of Rainey Lake.
