After a long day outdoors Best Western The Plaza Hotel is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and Wind River is a perfect whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Grandview Campgrounds, and Warm Springs Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Rainbow Terraces. When the night sets       in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 30's; night lows at Rainbow Terraces through the wintertime generally drop into the 0's.
