The view of wonderful Monument Hill near Rainbow Terraces is great; there are other spots here than Rainbow Terraces, for example Jones Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Warm Springs Creek flows through this neighborhood,       and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Johnson Trail. Not far from Rainbow Terraces, you'll stumble on Scotch Plunge which is a gorgeous lake; Devils Punch Bowl is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit. If you feel like a little side tour, try Red Lane Gulch. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rainbow Terraces has to offer, you can camp at Grandview Campgrounds. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Thermopolis is a brilliant                  place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Terraces that you need to camp here for a while, Fountain Of Youth RV Park is a tremendous place for that. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Rainbow Terraces, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Cover Slough is an attention-grabbing swamp in close proximity to Rainbow Terraces, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Wind River. At Rainbow Terraces through the summertime highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
