Yodeler Motel is a fine spot to get some rest, and don't leave Rainbow Lake without first going for a hike along the Lewis and Clark Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail; Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. The snow is glorious at Red Lodge Mountain.       If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Rainbow Lake. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; Rainbow Lake is not the only site close by, Fort Lake is a close by lake. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Absaroka Range. There's splendid hiking along the Beauty Lake Trail, and why not camp at Island Lake Campground since you're here at Rainbow Lake. Camping is available at Long                  Lake Campground, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Hauser Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. An average amount of rainfall falls at Rainbow Lake; June is when you get the most rain here while October is frequently the driest month.
