Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Rainbow Lake is one of them. Yodeler Motel is a fine spot to get some rest, and don't leave Rainbow Lake without first going for a hike along the Lewis and Clark Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail; Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. The snow is glorious at Red Lodge Mountain.
