Rainbow Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Double Cabin Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby, and float down the rapids of Wind River in a kayak. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Absaroka Range. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a wonderful choice, and places like Amoretti Park are magnificent       to pop by. Just can't get enough of Rainbow Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shoshone River - South Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Burroughs Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Twilight Creek Trail; Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great local campground. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a perfect place to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Rainbow Lake; Parque Creek Trail is a perfect                  local trail. Through the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Rainbow Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Rainbow Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Rainbow Lake is frequently a reasonably dried up place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
