This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Burnt Timber Lake close to Rainbow Lake, it's a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a brilliant site for that. This lake is so wonderful. A striking lake like Virgin Lake close to Rainbow Lake is a fine place to go to, and if you're here you can take       a hike along the Burroughs Creek Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Absaroka Range has to offer. Going for a hike along the Parque Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you came to camp Double Cabin Campground is a glorious spot to do that. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Twilight Creek Trail. That right there                  is a lot already, but it carries on; Rainbow Lake has it all. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Wind River. Having a wonderful time in the Absaroka Range is painless. While you're here at Rainbow Lake it's a splendid idea to have a look at Amoretti Park, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Shoshone River - South Fork. Rainbow Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. Rainbow Lake gets very little rain; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime at Rainbow Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's.
