If you are in this part of Wyoming make sure to pay a visit to Rainbow Lake. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Paddling on Paintrock Creek is so much fun, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Mistymoon Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Bighorn Mountains. The Cliff Lake Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake, and a lake nearby is Summit Lake.

| | So many exciting things in the Bighorn Mountains, just amazing. This lake is so wonderful. Rainbow Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Geneva Campground is a good local campground, and the skiing at Big Horn Ski is good. Camping at Coffeen Park Campground is always a good experience, and going for a hike on the Edelman Trail is always a fine adventure.

the driest month of the year is February. This place, Rainbow Lake, it just has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Tensleep Creek, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Mistymoon Trail.
High temperatures at Rainbow Lake all through the warm months are in the 60's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 30's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Rainbow Lake are in the 0's.
