A great spot to camp here at Pole Creek Lakes is Boulder Lake Campground, and there's great hiking along the Bell Lakes Trail. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Monument Creek is a lovely stream that is worth checking out, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Boulder Creek. If you come at the right time of year,       Pole Creek offers some perfect whitewater, and if you're here, you could also pop by pretty Lake Nelson. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pole Creek Lakes; Timico Lake Trail is a perfect local trail. At Pole Creek Lakes through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the                  30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Pole Creek Lakes fall into the 10's. Pole Creek Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Just can't get enough of Pole Creek Lakes. You'll find a scenic lake called 1000 Island Lake near Pole Creek Lakes, and splendid hiking is available along the Cook Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is lots of amusing things already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all.
