Poison Lake is located in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Pinto Park Trail is nice fun; if you came to camp Dickinson Creek Campground is a nice site to do that. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Poison       Lake. Camping at Big Sandy Campground is always a nice experience; since you're here you can take a hike along the Sweetwater Trail. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Ice Lakes Trail, of course you could also visit Ice Lakes while you're here; it's not far at all. Poison Lake is typically a relatively dried out site; May is the wettest month with most rain, and December on the other hand is the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River                  Range. Getting to Tayo Creek from Poison Lake is simple. For the period of the summertime at Poison Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, generally in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Poison Lake are in the 10's.
