What a place this is for outdoors people. If you need a location to stay Kelly Inn Yellowstone is a fine choice, and do take a hike on the Summit Lake Trail. Dry warm beds await you       at Gray Wolf Inn & Suites; naturally, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Summit Lake is a lake close by. At Plateau Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Plateau Lake descend into the 0's. There's so much to do here at Plateau Lake that you need to camp here                  for a while, Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park is a fine spot for that; if you're here you can take a hike along the Old Fountain Trail. Plateau Lake is commonly a rather arid site; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest.
