Pixley Reservoir is not the only site close by, Seaman Hill Reservoir is a close by lake; you could always look at Zimmerman Draw. Pixley Reservoir is ordinarily a rather dehydrated spot; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.       The peak of Rocky Point can be made out from Pixley Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Pixley Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Worland Campground is a fine location for that. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Pixley Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pixley                  Reservoir. So much enjoyable stuff close to Pixley Reservoir, absolutely striking.
