Don't leave Pinto Park Lake without first going for a hike along the High Meadow Trail, and Shoshone Lake is a great lake nearby. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. There's so much to do here at Pinto Park Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fiddlers Lake Campground is a delightful place for that; the summit of Mount Chevo can be seen from Pinto Park Lake. This       lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pinto Park Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dickinson Creek Campground; everybody loves Pinto Park. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Wind River Range. During the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Pinto Park Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at                  Pinto Park Lake are in the 10's. All year is a nice time in the Wind River Range if you fancy the outdoors. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Middle Popo Agie River, and there are delightful places to discover along the Ice Lakes Trail. Be careful coming to Pinto Park Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again.
