Through the summer at Pinchot Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's; the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Pinchot Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Circle Trail is always a nice adventure, and paddling       on North Platte River is so much fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Don't leave Pinchot Lake without first going for a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail, needless to say you could also explore Lost Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Pinchot Lake gets very little precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here;                  the driest of the months is February. Go for a hike on the Lakes Trail, and camping at Mirror Lake Campground is always a nice experience. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you came to camp Lewis Lake Campground is a splendid location to do that, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Cutthoat Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Pinchot Lake. Browns Peak is clearly visible from Pinchot Lake, and if you need a site to stay The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a pleasant choice.
