The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Piedmont Reservoir; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Piedmont Reservoir are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Guild and Dean Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to, and close by you locate the Emigrant Trail which is a good hiking trail. At Piedmont Reservoir       you don’t see much rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month. There's so much to do here at Piedmont Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Little Lyman Lake Campground is a glorious site for that, and while you're here, you could also explore picturesque Little Peidmont Reservoir. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Piedmont Reservoir. This is a popular spot for folks from                  Evanston; nearby you hit upon Guild Hollow which is a fine place to take a look at. A good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Evanston, and if you come at the right time of year, Blacks Fork - West Fork offers some fine whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Piedmont Reservoir you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Piedmont Dam, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail. Some of the water close by flows, like West Muddy Creek, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the High Line Trail.
