you can always explore nearby Double Lake, and why not camp at Circle Up Camper Court Shop since you're here at Phillips Lake. There is a great hiking trail next to Phillips Lake called the Ink Wells Trail, and there are some good
whitewater spots on Wind River.
That right there is a load already, but it continues; Phillips Lake has it all. Burro Flat is a wonderful place to check out; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a good choice.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Wind River Range. Going for a hike on the Dry Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and there's whitewater on Wind River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people.
