if you need a location to stay Alpenhof Lodge is a wonderful choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Phelps Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wagon wheel Campground, and going for a hike on the Valley Trail is
always a nice adventure.
Phelps Lake is mostly a rather dried out place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is bountiful here in the Teton Range. Death Canyon is a brilliant site to spend some time at, and the snow is fine at Jackson Hole.
