Petes Lake is a nice lake to visit. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Middle Popo Agie River, and camping at Fiddlers Lake Campground is always a wonderful experience. While you're here at Petes Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Riverton, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn At Lander. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around

| | Petes Lake; Petes Lake Trail is a splendid local trail, and you have to undeniably dedicate some time to Lower Hudson Meadow if you're here at Petes Lake.
Having a great time at Petes Lake is easy. Do have a look at Worthen Meadow Reservoir in the neighborhood of Petes Lake, it's a charming lake, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a great spot to spend a night or two. hiking along the Squaw Creek Trail, and Petes Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Bruce Campground is a wonderful local campground.
Around Petes Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is the month that
gets the most rain, and December meanwhile is the driest month. Shoshone Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Farlow Trail. Throughout the summer at Petes Lake highs are generally
in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Petes Lake.
Petes Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range.
