     These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Laramie Mountains. There are other spots here than Peterson Reservoir, for example Basin Reservoir, also Peterson Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Peterson Reservoir is great! If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Douglas is a nice choice. If you came for an overnight stay Douglas Koa is a magnificent place to camp, and dry warm  
   beds await you at Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center.
This lake is so wonderful. K O A Kampgrounds is a great campground nearby; why not a little side journey to Muddy Wagon Hound Creek. Poison Lake is a great lake close to Peterson Reservoir, and nearby you find Kenny Draw which is a splendid place to go to. The Laramie Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Peterson Reservoir gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually
 
               May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. At Peterson Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 80's; the night is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Peterson Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.
