If you are traveling by, why not stop by Peat Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a fine choice, and nearby you stumble on the Geyser Creek Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Peat Lake is pretty arid commonly; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range, not sufficient

| | time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Union Lake, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Green River.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Peat Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Peat Lake fall into the 10's. This is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes. paddling on Wind River is so much fun. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here at Peat Lake that you need to camp here
for a while, Rawhide Ranch is a splendid spot for that, and the Roaring Fork Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and if you're
looking for some flowing water? Try Cabin Creek.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wind River Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Peat Lake has to offer, you can camp at Circle Up Camper Court Shop; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Moon Lake Trail.
