    If you are in Sublette county it's always a good idea to stop by Peak Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn; if you're here, you might as well pop by Cube Rock Pass. Peak Lake is a location that is relatively arid regularly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. For the period of the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Peak Lake, and during summer nights  
   temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Peak Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Peak Lake is not the only site close by, Titcomb Lakes is a close by lake, and Baby Glacier is an interesting site to visit while at Peak Lake. A lake close by is Upper Jean Lake, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Boulder Creek.

               it here in the Wind River Range. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Pole Creek. There's so much to do here at Peak Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End Campground is a great place for that. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Wind River Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Glacier Trail, and Peak Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a nice local campground. Peak Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Peak Lake. If you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a wonderful choice, and there's brilliant hiking along the Shannon Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Peak Lake; New Fork Trail is a great local trail; Bow Mountain is a peak you can see from Peak Lake.
