A visit to Palisades Reservoir is always a good idea. A visit to Bear Wallow Canyon is always fun; paddling on Snake River - South Fork is so much fun. McCoy Creek Campground is a perfect campground here, and a quick trip to Little Sheep Creek is unquestionably a good idea. Palisades Reservoir is commonly a rather dehydrated place; May is when you get the most rain here, and March meanwhile is the driest month.

| | Point can be seen from Palisades Reservoir, and an exciting thing to have a look at close to Palisades Reservoir is Palisades Dam. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. After a long day outdoors Teton Springs Lodge & Spa is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and Palisades Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Palisades Reservoir is a nearby lake. scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Grand Targhee. If you came for an overnight stay Big Elk Creek Campground is a great place to camp; whitewater paddling is great on Pine Creek. For the duration of the months of summer,
highs regularly are in the 80's at Palisades Reservoir. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Palisades Reservoir are in the 0's.
