During the warmest time of the year here at Lake Owen, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Owen. The panorama of Iron Mountain from Lake Owen is pretty. There's so much to do here at Lake Owen that you need       to camp here for a while, Hidden Valley Picnic - Medicine Bow National Forest is a wonderful place for that. Yeah, come up here to the Medicine Bow Mountains for a wonderful time. Some close by water includes North Fork Squirrel Creek, and there's whitewater on Laramie River for all you thrill seekers. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Owen has to offer, you can camp at Lake Owen Campground; you'll find a beautiful lake called Sunby Reservoir.                  It is very dry here at Lake Owen mostly; most of the rain falls through July; the driest month of the year is February. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Snowy Range is in the neighborhood of Lake Owen, and the Circle Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Lake Owen near Lake Owen, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Owen; Mendenhall Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Laramie here at Lake Owen. Lake Owen is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Be careful coming to Lake Owen, you might not ever wanna return back home again.
