Outlet Lake is right by the Mount Sheridan Trail. The Heart Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and at Outlet Lake you can observe Channel Mountain. The yearly rainfall here at Outlet Lake is about average; through the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is ordinarily the driest month. At Outlet Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. All through the       dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Outlet Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's.
