If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Old Ram Lake. Take a hike on the C M Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Longhorn RV & Motel is a fine place to camp.       This lake is so wonderful. Ram Flat is right here at Old Ram Lake. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Wind River Range is so good! This is a good area for folks who like lakes. Dads Lake is a lake close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ross Lake Trail. The summit of Shale Mountain can be observed from Old Ram Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Old Ram Lake; Whiskey Mountain Trail is a pleasant local trail. You just can't                  imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Wind River Range has to offer. Nearby lakes? Sure, Snowband Lake is next to Old Ram Lake; whitewater paddling is great on Green River. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summer months at Old Ram Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Old Ram Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
