Why not camp at Lava Creek Campgrounds since you're here at Obsidian Lake, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Gardiner/Yellowstone Park Area is a great choice. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact plentiful here at Obsidian       Lake. Have a great hiking adventure along the Howard Eaton Trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs. This lake is so wonderful. Apollinaris Spring is a pleasant local attraction, and whitewater paddling is fine on Yellowstone River. While you're here at Obsidian Lake you can take a hike along the Sepulcher Loop Trail, and a wonderful site to camp here at Obsidian Lake is Indian Creek Campground. If you're here at Obsidian Lake, you                  could go to Lemonade Creek, and Mulherin Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mount Holmes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you want to visit some attention-grabbing stuff, visit Obsidian Cliff. You truly must love Obsidian Lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Obsidian Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. All through the summer highs here at Obsidian Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
