     The beauty of Obsidian Lake attracts many people from all around. At Obsidian Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month of the year is February. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the neighborhood of Obsidian Lake has to offer. While you're here at Obsidian Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Holmes Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Lava Creek Campgrounds is a  
   fine location to camp.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs; if you're here, you could also explore gorgeous Lilypad Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You need to take a look at Obsidian Cliff since you're here at Obsidian Lake, and camping is available at Indian Creek Campground. The warmest time of the year at Obsidian Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings
 
               highs down to the 30's while Obsidian Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
If the weather is glorious here at Obsidian Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sepulcher Loop Trail, and get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Yellowstone River. Obsidian Canyon is a good location to spend some time at It's always pleasant to stop by Apollinaris Spring. Obsidian Lake in fact is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Howard Eaton Trail, and there's whitewater on Mulherin Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
The Landmark is a peak you can observe from Obsidian Lake; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Gardiner is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and swing by Lemonade Creek it's a great place to stop at.
