It is very dehydrated here at North Poker Creek Reservoir commonly; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. All through the warmest time of the year here at North Poker Creek Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's       while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at North Poker Creek Reservoir temperatures sink to the-10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. This lake is so wonderful. Freeman Number 3 Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and it's a nice idea to stop by Carpenter Creek. North Poker Creek Dam is wonderful and it's near North Poker Creek                  Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Powder River - Middle Fork. Poker Creek Parks is a fine location to check out, and do stop at McCarthy Reservoir Number 1, it's a wonderful lake. You just have to go for the Bighorn Mountains.
