Why not camp at Big Sandy Campground if you're here at Noel Lake, and here at Noel Lake you can spot Baily Peak. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Wind River Range. A lake close by is Darren Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Crossover Trail. This location is excellent, just check out all the cool stuff to do near Noel Lake. Hiking along the Middle Fork       Trail is pleasant fun; Shelia Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. High temperatures at Noel Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Noel Lake dip into the 10's. There's whitewater on Bull Lake Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; you can have a good hiking adventure                  along the Pyramid Lake Trail. Noel Lake is located in the Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Scab Creek Campground is a delightful place to camp; after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great location to spend a night or two.
