    A visit to Nina Reservoir is always a good idea. Nina Reservoir is mostly a rather dried out place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is December. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Nina Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at The Cody, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Shoshone River. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. Good hiking is available along the Timber  
   Creek Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Nina Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at TK's RV Park.
If you need a place to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a good choice, and the top of Devils Tooth is easily made out from Nina Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Paddling on Greybull River is so much fun. There are pleasant places to explore along the Jack Creek Trail; Nina Reservoir is a nice location to
 
               visit for more than one day, Yellowstone Valley Inn is a nice location to camp nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Nina Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Piney Creek Trail, and Nina Dam is delightful. During the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Nina Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Nina Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
